I am now retired. I was a school teacher for 6 years, owned 3 small clothing stores for 10 years, had a monthly antique newspaper and an antique store for several years. I enjoyed all of them but love retirement and quilting.

In high school I worked at JJ Newberrys cutting fabric. Than went to Shop Rite Supermarket in Hackettstown,NJ as a cashier all while in high school. Than worked as a keypunch operator for Uncle Sam than went to secretary to admin asst = stayed with Uncle Sam for THIRTY years and retired at the age of 53-1/2. Took early retirement when they had a RIF (Reduction in Force). Now retired and enjoy life but for 4 months a year go to North Carolina to work for a cousin on my husband side of family being an office manager for her Income Tax Business. My husband also works for her as a preparer - he took classes.
