I've not been a great fan of the 'race' quilts but this quilt with the applique has changed my perspective! It is wonderful!!! Thanks for sharing!

It's so nice to see so many really pretty jelly roll quilts. I can't pick a favorite, they're all so individual.

    Gail,
Your quilt is lovely and it's from a Moda Scrap Bag to boot! Love the colors I'm sure the recipients will love it!

    Hi Diane,
What a GREAT seasonal quilt! Is this your own design and what color binding will you be using?

I really like the colors in this quilt. Thanks for sharing the pattern and fabric line in your post, inquiring minds want to know! :0) Your setting blocks and corners blend so well, I would have thought they were the same line of fabrics! Well done!

I recently participated in a jelly roll race within a Project Linus group. We had 36 yards of 2-1/2 strips all sewn together and then raced to see who got their quilt finished first. I love how (on page 4) the quilter from Alaska put a huge appliqued flower on hers. If you do not mind, I will borrow that idea in the future for my charity quilts--maybe a huge tractor, doll or kitten. Very nice, AKgranny!
