Does reorganizing quilting room lead to lost items?

LOL, this is me. I can stand in one spot and lose something I was using a minute ago. It's like my hands hide it from me. Lord.

The one thing I haven't found since I moved out to my sewing room is my pinking shears. I'm not buying another pair as I know they were on my table the day before I started to move. They were given to me by a friend. They were her mother's. I'm confident they will turn up.

I use the T-touch and label all drawers etc. as to what is in them. It works for me.

I enjoy playing with my stash and reorganizing everything. However, this generally leads to lost items.
Today, I plan to gather all my novelty fabric and put it in one container. I know I did this once or twice before but I keep finding fabric in the wrong places. Does that happen to any of you?
