MaryTG, that is a fantastic price since this just posted for sale here in Dallas.
Verified with seller and that is what he's asking.
That's four mortgage payment for me, LOL!

Anyone know what company/machine this is for?

One of the things on my "maybe in the future" wish lists is to put a machine in a small parlour cabinet that I have - the cabinet is nice and I have hauled it around with me the last 30 years through 4 moves. It is only the wooden cabinet and I'm hoping that someday it will house a pretty machine that I can treadle away on.

That is the drive wheel and foot pedal of a early dentist drill. (yep)

The large 15" wheel at the bottom would have connected to a small 3 inch (or smaller) wheel at the top of a 5-6 foot pole. the top wheel drives a LOOOOONG spring that acts as a drive shaft. to a handle where the tips go.

Basically a treadle Dremel (ON my list for a complete one)

EDIT: If I had not just bought the 1867 Franklin Treadle and a plane ticket to my Daughters wedding in Hawaii, I would buy THAT one

And as bad as the $65K+ price was this note that added insult to injury:

If you would like this shipped you will be responsible for the cost to ship but I will be happy to help make the arrangements.

Steve - you have medical sewing devices and now want a treadle dentist drill? Though I suppose both are better than some of the methods used back in the era the armor you make would have been used. . .

When do we get to see a sneak preview of that Franklin? I've been dying of curiosity since you posted looking for someone to pick up and mail a machine to you!

OK - I just went back a page and saw it - - very neat!

Macybaby - I am trying to get my shop to have an all people powered option. This would replace the dremel.

I'm not sure but this treadle looks like it has a wooden wheel on the bottom

This White treadle is in "nice" condition! The free price tag makes up for that I guess.
