I did one I really liked that used a light background and bright batiks. I think it was called Island Chain.

This one was very easy. One jelly roll and I did a 2 1/2" border instead of 6" border.
Now I really need to quilt it!

The one behind my friend Danielle is the Yellow Brick Road Pattern but it took one jelly roll and half of another jelly roll.

You can try the Crazy eights pattern from Quilting Quickly 2014. Pattern is sold by Keepsake Quilting now. I finished this quilt two days ago as a memory quilt for my late sister.

Here are some sites with neat Jelly roll patterns, Robert Kaufman fabrics- some really cool free patterns here, also jellyrollfabric.net- you can sign up for Liz Kalsuro's free jelly roll patterns. I am not affiliated with either site, but I do receive emails from Liz's site and one a while back that she showed how to convert your jelly roll quilt top from horizontal strips to diagonal strips- I haven't tried this one yet. There is also a neat pattern called "Stroll Down Penny Lane" on her site.

I like this quilt by Rob Appell. In fact, I have a batiks jelly roll I plan on using to make this. http://bit.ly/3dudesquiltmsqc (The Three Dudes Quilt: Easy Quilting with Rob Appell of Man Sewing and Jenny Doan of MSQC)
