With our yard sale this weekend, I obviously didn't get to my sewing machine. However, I have been lurking and following along reading everyone's progress. I did work yesterday afternoon on setting up my new sewing space, with the daylight basement finally cleaned out with the yard sale, I moved in my remaining quilt room furniture, and started organizing. I had a basic set up before, just so I could sew, and it worked, but over the next few weeks, I will work on organizing everything. I see a lot of progress this weekend and beautiful works on here, enjoy your time sewing and I look forward to next months VQW.

Still in a bit of a slump: I actually cleaned house a bit (instead of quilting!) so you know how bad this slump is. I did sew a couple rows together on one of my projects, but that was about it. Ah well, next time...

Good Morning, just a quick check in before I head off for a shower, then Mom duties. I was able to clean and organize almost one entire wall of my sewing room. I changed which boxes I stored my thread in so they will now fit on my shelves, I can see and grab the color I want quicker. During the cleaning I did get rid of a mid size tote worth of stuff that did not belong in the room.

If I get everything done early today it will be more cleaning and maybe pressing some fabric I washed, so I can start a baby gift for my niece.

Thank you Heather for another awesome VQW

Hubby decided after a bit with the heating pad that he probably needed to get up and move around. So we visited a number of garage sales but didn't really find anything on our list but did explore the neighboring areas a bit. We measured the master bedroom and went back to a sale we had been to on Saturday and got a couple of night stands -- it is so rare for hubby to say "I rather like those". I was concerned that they were too large for the room and the king sized bed hubby wants but turns out we can have it all with just inches to spare.

For me, I sewed the pre-pinned triangle sections I had ready and pinned the remaining pieces. I can get those done today and have the next stage to work on at my Tuesday group.

Thanks again to all for another VQW.

My pedal came yesterday afternoon and I got quilt put together except for the last border. Will finish it and the backing tomorrow then load it on the longarm. Hopefully it will be done this week. Last border is green plaid, The friend I'm making it for loves looking at the lake.

Well, I got most of the quilting done on this one. Just 2 more blocks to stitch and then something in the sashing.
