b.zang and dunster both asked if I used a pattern for the tote. Totes are simple to make and all basically the same. You can add pockets inside or out or whatever you want, to make it your own. There are lots of tote patterns, if you google. I usually make whatever fits my fabric, so sometimes they are different sizes.
Dunster I had to laugh at your statement, 'I can't believe you whipped it up so quickly.' It took me all day to make the tote and I told my daughter, that came in a while yesterday, and my husband I must be losing my speed. I used to make totes and purses all the time, but I am out of practice, since I started making quilts. I had to think how to do it-lol
Thank you all that have commented so nicely to my projects. You all make beautiful things too that I enjoy seeing. I just love to sew and always remember to thank God for giving me this talent. I hope I serve Him well by making for others.

You do such beautiful work Toogie, I always look forward to seeing something you have done, Isn't it great when you can shop your stash and find things you "need", just to make something perfect. Two lovely gifts to be treasured by the recipints.
