Good evening. Just back from our Asheville family’s home. Hadn’t seen the grands in almost a month since everyone is so busy.

I received three block pix from Nelco for me, Hav and Lstew. Enjoy!

Thank you Nelco for my wonderful block!

Such a sweet baby quilt SBG! This "Wild Goose Chase" block is for SBG using her Christmas fabric.
Beautiful block, I have trouble with the flying geese blocks. This one looks great

Cheesehead fun Christmas block for Sewbiz.

The memory bear Sewbiz made for me to give to my friend arrived today. It is perfect and I’m so thrilled with it, Tracey is going to love it.
I love memory bears, I made these for my family when my father passed away out of his flannel shirts. such a warm hug for all.

Terri, thanks for sharing the bear! Your quilt sure looks great behind him!

Wednesday I reached for something and --PING-- back spasm. It wasn't even a big movement. So now I'm nursing a bad back. Can't do a lot except lie down. Today is better than yesterday, so I'm hoping it settles down soon.

Have a nice evening!
Sewbiz, sorry to hear about your back. hope you feel better soon

I did my best to focus on colors that I need. My joy is that there are a number of cuts that are enough yardage to be used as backing. That sure works for me! Maybe some of the UFO will take the next step to leave my sewing room.

Tonight.... something on the screen and adding the binding to a hospice quilt that needs repair so it can serve a few more folks. .
I love a good estate sale, such great finds. You got a great buy.

This tablet won't let me post photos. I'll have to use the big laptop, so I'll do that soon. Anyone else have that issue?
Funny you mentioned the tablet, I can't get quilt board forum to load at all on my tablet at all. I used to, but not now for some reason.

Two blocks for today, one for TG and one for Susie. TG. that 4" fabric you included looked so nice together with the blue fabric that I looked for a pattern that could use that 4" piece. Your block looks a little wonky in the picture, but it truly is square.

Beautiful blocks, Cheese

Good morning. Just getting around to checking in. Got up a little late and went for a walk on this sunny and coolish day.

Cheesehead, love your blocks for TG and Susie. Am particularly enthused by the basket block. Lovely.
A2P, hope you are back to feeling yourselves now.
TG. SBG's undersea blocks are fabulous. Love the crab!
SBG, glad your back is recovering.
GramE, that's a much better pic. Thanks.

Off to the gallery.

I love it, Cheese!!

Since I was away I haven't done any sewing but need to get going on blocks. I'm looking forward to it. It's fun to use other peoples' fabric.
The last few pages of blocks are wonderful. It seems that each Boom gets better and better. Love being a part of it.
I also like the chit chat that goes with it. It's nice to have a group to hang with.

Somebody asked to see my new little Janome travel machine. Here she is. I’m just starting to play with it. This is my first computerized machine so there’s a little learning curve. So far it sews great straight. Next I’m going to re-thread and try some zigzag stitching as I need to do a little Frankenbatting.

Cheese, love your newest blocks for SBG and Ibex.

Ernie’s walking around too much so I think he’s telling me he needs a potty break. Later!
