Oh gosh, yes! This block will go beautifully on the beach blanket! I love the memories this fabric set up for you. It makes this block extra special for me. I can't wait to share the stories with my husband when I get this put together. Thank you!!

A lesson for me. That black, white and colored quilt top I am making was found by Thimblebug to have been stolen from the designer. It’s listed on FB as “free” but clearly it’s not. I contacted the original designer and she confirmed that her pic was used without her permission and is being used by someone (someones) to make money. I learned also that it was a pattern in a book from Project Linus. I’m going to try to find one now. Be careful when you see something, even if it’s listed as free, as it might very well not be legitimate.

If you locate it, please let me know the source as it was definitely not my own idea.

Eek! Well I only went looking to try to find it for myself, sorry!

Here’s my block for today. I have another but I figured out I have 4 pieces upside down. This is for CheeseHead. I call it Santa’s nightmare. He can’t find his way home!

I put this together so it could be used on point. But not intentionally.

I've been cross stitching like crazy this year. This is going to be for my grands. I'm almost finished.
GramE, I put your newest block in the gallery. Let me know if you plan to fix it so I can pull this one out.

Thimblebug, don’t be sorry. It’s a cautionary tale to be sure. Thank you.

Some much needed rain is on the way tonight. A month ago I wished the rain would stop, now we need it. WNC weather is fickle.

I thoroughly enjoyed the play yesterday! It was hysterical. I think an actor messed up once and the way she covered just made it even funnier. it was a production of “Clue”.

Those who are ready to ship your packages, go ahead. Please just email me the tracking number.

Have a fine day.

Janice sounds like the play was so much fun. I can’t tell you the last time we attended a play!

SusieQ your cross stitch is stunning!

GramE love that you name so many of your blocks, always look forward to seeing the block after reading your title.

This afternoon we are heading out for lunch and live music. Will be interesting to see if it’s jam packed as usual this early in the season.

Enjoy your day

I”m going to be taking a break from making blocks and make my Halloween costume. Halloween is my favorite holiday. I have four Dia de Muertos quilting items. We give away books. We also have a little free library with 90 books in it. Mostly kids book. I put out a donation request on Buy Nothing and usually get about 300 books. They last me the full year. Then we serve dinner out on the driveway, soups and watch the kids trick or treat. A few kids don’t like it but most enjoy being able to pick out a book. Kids tell “It’s the book house!” One 12 year old girl said to her friends; “This is my happy place”!

Good morning. You all act fast! Packages are in the mail already. I should have three by the end of the week. Gone are the days of two day shipping so keep that in mind as you finish up your blocks.

Mjp, hope you’ll show us your costume when you finish.

Have a pleasant week.
