I'm in. Putting the finishing touches on a Project Linus quilt to hand it tomorrow. My first time using the school glue method and I loved it for this type of quilt. I then zig zagged it and it laid so flat I was thrilled. I did need a quilting friend to show me step by step though! I always remember steps better if I'm shown while doing it. For the rest of the weekend I'm working on some pin cushions for gifts.

I will be in my sewing room for as much time as possible for the next week. I am desperately trying to finish the blocks for my '30's quilt which I started just after New Year. It consists of 49 Lemoyne star blocks--with Y seams, 36--81 patch (nine 9 patches ) alternate blocks, which are set on point, thus forcing me to make 24 side blocks and 4 corner blocks. I am sooo close!! and sooo tired of this pattern!!

I also have 4 donation tops to get quilted by next Friday. They are all about lap sized so should not take long--once I get at them.

Everyone has some nice plans happening, look forward to hearing and seeing whatever gets accomplished, thanks!
I just finished some diaper change pads, need to tell my DD that I don’t want to make these anymore, I have run out of the padded table cover I was using and I don’t want to buy another one 🤪. But her friends keep having babies and like them….

Thank you Heather for hosting again. I am in and looking forward to it despite my new glasses not coming in yet ( was in the market for a new Rx, but had some glasses whoops prior to getting to an optical shop which obviously sped up that up). guess I will just need to wear my cheaters. I have been in a sewing slump since between Thanksgiving and Christmas, and last weekend I decided to refold all my fabric. ( I have read on here from others, that sometimes help you get your mojo back) I found a fabric I had been holding onto with plans for baby quilts, and down the rabbit hole I went. The fabric is girly, so I went on the hunt for a boy juvenile print I remembered having stashed and ended up finding flannel I bought at a yard sale this past summer too. I have all the backing, batting and fabric for 10 baby quilts, just needed a few coordinating fabrics which I went to our nearest city and bought today. Looking forward to being back at my sewing machine, and being creative.
Reading through the posts so far, sounds like others have projects to finish up, and others in a creative spirit too. Can't wait to see what everyone gets accomplished this weekend.

Husband voted for C I love B. No sewing until at least Sunday, we're enjoying the warmth and sun in Florida before heading back to Minnesota.

LGJARN52--you've definitely had a busy week! Hope both the new kitty and hubby are doing well.

sschick--hope you have a great concert

    Lena1952--glad you're doing better

    aashley333--B

Quiltah mama--hopefully your mojo will be back soon. Sometimes just going through some of my UFOs/WIPs will re-energize me and get me motivated again. It's different for everyone though I'm sure.

No quilting today. We ran errands and then this afternoon was spent dealing with an unexpected bill. Received a bill from dentist for work done from 9/21 until 6/25 (when we moved out of state). I asked them repeatedly during that time for a bill and was told every time, we didn't owe anything. So I wasn't too thrilled when a bill for almost $2000 arrived yesterday! Dental insurance rep was very helpful though. So hopefully tomorrow I will head to basement and work on the quilts. We don't have any other plans for the day

Cam's Gram, lovely quilt. I have seen that panel before and have admired it. Your choice of colors and layout around it enhance it perfectly. Phew.... on the thread.
I got three baby quilt flimys sewn today, and two more cut out ready to start sewing in the morning. Had a rough start this morning getting back into my groove. I have not sewn since around Thanksgiving. I have been organizing and refolding fabric, so my space was tidy, it was just a matter of reorienting my space to get my supplies situated. And cleaning my sewing machine and changing the needle, who ever used this machine last left it in poor shape.........
Made a shepherd's pie for supper this afternoon, so time to eat, then back at it tomorrow.
