Billy, I too love pb&jelly and eat it at least three times a week and more if I let myself. Pb&jelly is to me what chocolate is to chocoholics. I surely hope it does not increase in price, but if it does I will still buy it. What kind do you like? Mine is Jiff.

Hope you are feeling better, you are in my prayers.

Sometimes peanut butter is just the thing that hits the empty spot. I love it with home made jelly. Yummy.

? unopened peanut butter is good for up to 5 years.

It's easy to make your own. Roast some peanuts ( or buy a can of Planters) and put them in a food processor. You can add a little oil but the peanuts will make it's own oil and separate. If you keep it in the fridge it will be too hard to stir. Make fresh peanut butter a little at a time. You can make almond butter and add chocolate or hazlenut butter and add chocolate, add chocolate to any made nut butter YUM. Our favorite is Brazil nut butter.

Have you ladies seen this? Dark chocolate peanut butter. I thought I'd died and gone to heaven when I saw it in the store....

    Ouch!!

So how many of us are going to run to the store and buy up this delectable treat before it gets equal to the price of gas?

My DH will be there in the aisle waiting for you Billy!!! He buys a jar of Peanut Butter weekly whether we need it or not. Don't get me started.
But yes, I would buy more up if I knew the price was going to skyrocket.

Oh Peckish, where did you ever find this? Wonder if they are selling this stuff in the Southeast. Peanut butter has taken a dislike to me but I just might have to try some of this anyway. Hmmm, my son lives in Seattle so maybe I can get him to look for it and send me a case.

I didn't grow up with Peanut Butter and with the exception of the occasional chocolate/peanut treat I could go my whole life without ever seeing or smelling it. (When DH mixes it with honey I have to leave the room)

Now my choice would be pizza and the prices of that perfect food have gone through the roof as well.

I love PBJ on tuna salad sandwiches and PB with prunes makes a tasty snack...good for you too. Now if you haven't tried peanut butter on tuna sandwiches don't say UGH, try it as I was skeptical too. P.S. I use the super chunky too

Since someone is suggesting PB with something that one wouldn't imagine....I also have a selection for you.

Try a pork roll & cheese with PB and catsup...(egg, optional)
as my son puts it, "DON"T KNOCK IT 'TIL YOU TRY IT"

I definitely will try your tuna delight !!!!!
