your thoughts of others is really, really touching! after all you're going through!

things will get better. so glad to hear no one was injured and your damage was

somewhat minimal.

How awful for you! I hope your insurance will include some 'fun' money to get new stuff but if you're like me I have a fabric 'museum' and many 'treasures' can't be replaced.


Thank the good Lord you were home and OK. I do have a regular extension cord behind a book case that I plug a fan in to from time to time so I will definitely take your advice.

Hang in there and keep us up to date on what's happening.

PS - A few years back I learned there was a 'dollar limit' per item for things like computers, sewing machines, etc. on my insurance policy. Check your policies everyone ... I had to get a rider on my policy to get replacement value for all my sewing equipment.

So thankful you are ok! Was anything plugged into the cord, or was is just the cord? That is scary!
