    Personally, I think sometimes quilters start a project, make the blocks, then put them away for an uncertain amount of time and never get back to making the quilt. It might be because they no longer like the blocks, the fabrics, whatever; but I know I have at least 3 sets of blocks to make into quilts and have just never gotten around to putting them together into a quilt. This is something I hope to rectify in the future - try New Year's Resolutions. LOL. You did a fantastic job on setting the blocks and the beautiful quilting. Her loss is your gain, but it was definitely a fantastic find for you.
