Let's see.........I knit, crochet, paint in oils, watercolors and do pastels, mostly horses. I do counted cross stitch, needlepoint and crewel embroidery. I raise a garden and can or freeze the produce. I love to cook and bake, and sew all kinds of things, as well as quilts. I do blankets and quilts for Project Linus.
I used to make porcelain dolls, but got so I couldn't pour the slip into the molds. I make stuffed teddy bears.
I make cut/ pierced and painted lampshades.
Used to be a pretty capable motorcycle mechanic, and until 5 years ago, did ground training on 2 year old horses.
Can't recall a time I've ever been bored. :D

I started out with crocheting actually before my mom would teach me that, I had to untangle and roll her box of yarns, and after I learned latch hook, and cross stitching. I have learned needle tatting trying to learn with a shuttle, I love to garden, and canning, and backing and turning butter , I am trying to teach myself knitting(it has been going slow), and have now started quilting.

Over the years I have collected Porcilin dolls and turtle things as well as jewlery boxes.

Ha, ha, is this "piddling" a typo, or is there a different meaning in your country to mine. Gave me a good laugh anyway.

I think we're all quilters because we seem to mostly have similar interests and must be on the same wave length. We're all intelligent, caring and creative people.
No she is not urinating in the yard!

I collect; itty bitty things, dice, fabric, music boxes. CD's , old movies, and when I am in the mood, I bake. I also collect Maxine, sewing pins (lapel type), and spend way too much time teaching my cat and dog to do tricks. The best trick so far, is teaching my cat to come over and poke me with his paw when he wants something. My friends just crack up when they see that one!

Your train is fantastic! i have been trying to figure out how to do a model T, so maybe I should get the train book and modify that to a car???? It might be more than I can digest!
I did not know about the Monks Cloth web site, so thanks for sharing it. I just looked at it and I have several of the books, but there are lots more that I don't have.
This web site is just FULL of good information!
