What can I say - wow! This is my parcel from Nexxus831 - lots of things I've never seen before. Batik with penguins on it, green batik, Henry Miller fabric, binding clips, a fantastic lanyard that doubles as a tape measure, a Mckenna Ryan pattern (my absolute favourite for appliqué) and best of all, a guide to Washington state. Love it all - thank you so much!

Default Woo HOo! I got my box yesterday as I walking out the door!

I got my box as we were walking out the door to go to the cardboard boat races again this year....This is what I got from Dconroy(Donna) I love what I got, All of the candy...the tote bag is awesome, I used it this morning when I went to pick up my newspapers for the coupons this morning. The little lighthouse glass is going up on my shelf. I now have enough seam rippers that i may not lose them for once! (LOL) She also sent me pics of her Kona Kitty..He is so cute, and he sent my kitties and soon to be puppy treats as well! I cannot wait to look through the counted cross stitch magazine...and as well as the smaller counted cross stitch patterns as well...Hubby has already gotten into the twizzer pull in peels!

The quilt in the second picture is what I got from roseirish as a surprise!

I had to make a Wal Mart run this morning and while
there to pick up cat food I found some new cat toys
that I KNEW at least Gizmo would love to play with.

Seems that 3 of my 4 cats had to investigate this new
fuzzy toy. The other toy is Gizmo's favorite kind and
it has feathers; he loves to rip the feathers out all over
the place making a HUGE mess LOL. But he nor any of
the others eat the feathers they just like to play with them.

In the next picture Tim decided to put Gizmo on top of the
fabric bins to see what he would do. After roaming the tops
he settled on the lower bin. Not sure if he thinks that he is
king of the bins, guardian of the fabric or what. But he is
clearly getting himself comfortable to stay for awhile.

No your eyes are NOT deceiving you there are 16 bins of fabric
on this level, another 16+ below the platform and even more
bins in the sewing room where my machine are set up.

Did I ever say that I had tons of fabric? LOL

Ugh. Mackerel. Poo! However, it is terrific for bait and chum. My dogs like canned mackerel, so when open a can to use in my bait net, they get what's left over.
Smoked fish? YUM! Love whiting. Mmmmm.

After a much anticipated wait I recieved a great package yesterday afternoon from Vicki W. Then wouldn't you know I my internet was down all yesterday afternoon ...didn't come back on until this morning. She sent me some awesome fall fabrics...got plans for a table runner from them! Also a nice crocheted dollie with pansies, some long straight pins, 2 spools of fall ribbon, note paper & envlopes, a nice magazinea needle case for used needles and an awesome card with a quilt on the front. Some very nice things I will enjoy using. Thank you Vicki W your the best!

Gosh, there are so many beautiful swap packages this month. I did not participate this month. I just couldn't because of my brother. I am really looking forward to next month though. Keep the fun going. I'll check back to O-o-h and Ah-h-h with all of you.

I'm back from vacation, and kind of caught up on the board. I skipped around, you know read a few, skip a few. I haven't heard that my sp got her package. I pick up my mail tomorrow, hopefully there is a surprize for me in it. Happy Sunday everyone.

Louise, can I come and shop in your Fabric store? hehe, and I thought I had a lot of fabric! One of my very best friends when I was a young Mom had the most awesome sewing room, I am not kidding it had more fabric than she could have used in ten life times! and the sign about her sewing room said " The one who collects the most wins" It was a while ago, and I am sure she is still quilting up in heaven. I think from that point forward I had to join that club!

The thing about us quilters we love what we do so much we just have to pass the love along!

Have a great day ~

I have had a wonderful family day of fishing. We caught over 100lbs of mackeral. We gave it all away but 12. The older people in the community grew up eating mackeral and they aren't able to fish, so it worked out great. We love to fish and they got a treat. We even cleaned them so they wouldn't have to. I figure I caught about 50. Now in the morning I won't be able to move and boy am I burnt. It was overcast for most of the morning, I know better, should have used sunscreen with my fair skin. Even though I was bent over the washboard of the boat, my face got burned from the reflection off from the water. Maybe tomorrow there will be several pkgs in the mail and we won't have to set on the bench.
