Perhaps it's the "you get what you pay for" syndrome. They sound really inexpensive - maybe better quality flip-flops wouldn't hurtyour feet? I can wear any kind of shoe with no problem other than the blister thing that happens when wearing a new pair of shoes or sandals.

Had to add this to the thread ~ I just saw that someone on Freecycle was offering a large box of Old Navy flip flops ~ "hardly worn" LOL!

I haven't toss all of mine yet. Still hoping to find a craft to do with them. Maybe I can make them into a doormat? Stick them together and make a quilted padded bath mat? A beach bag?

I used to wear flip flops all the time, but then I had problems in the joint of the big toe. Dr. said no more flip flops, took 6 months to heal. Now I wear scuffs.

Since it's so dry here, I can't really wear flip flops and if I do, it's only for a short period of time. They dry out my heals to where they'll split and bleed.. (not pretty)

So I bought some Sketchers on sale that have a sorta wrap around my big toe so it's sorta like flip flops, but they don't dry out my heals..love Sketchers!

I never expose my feet. I had my toe broken by an over exerberant dancer once and since then, they stay in closed up shoes.

flip flops take some getting used to even when made correctly. besides, they used to be called thongs!!!
If I call them thongs, my daughter goes crazy. I have a couple of pairs that I love. I bought a couple of cheap pairs and they were so uncomfortable I threw them away.
