    Default got my package

I got a great package last week from Onalee. She was my sp a few months ago and got me again but still managed to fill up another box especially for me. I got some big pieces of fabric in my favorite colors, some batiks, plus some novelty fabric ......one for Christmas, one Americana, and a gingerbread print. I am going to use the gingerbread fabric to make something first. It is really cute. I also got some glasshead pins, notecards, a cupcake pincushion, homemade dish cloths, a pattern that looks like I can adapt it to scarlets and greys and make an OSU block O quilt for myself. Also a beautiful Christmas hanging JOY. I know the perfect place for it in December. She also sent me Werthers hard candies and that wonderful black licorice. Thanks, Onalee. Sassy likes everything too!

Hey everyone! I got my package today! I really love it! It came from SLHughes, from canadA! I love everything in it that you put in there! I will post a picture soon as I figure out how to get it from my iPad camera roll.
Five fabrics, sewing pins, two patterns kitchen towel, embroidery floss, little snippets, a "purple thang" thing tool, 3 shot glasses, a key chain of Canadian moose, AND CHOCOLATE! Mini M AND M's and a nestle KIT KAT chunky! Wow! Thank you so VERY MUCH!!

Beach plums taste like ... the summer sun, salty sea breeze, the cry of the seagull, the shrieks of happy children --all the best of summer in a tiny bit of fruit.

Not sure I know what some of those items taste like. I've got the salty sea breeze down, actually have tasted that. I hear the seagulls all day. In fact, I have a couple that think they are my pets. They come and sit on my deck. When we eat on the deck, someone has to stand guard or they will help themselves to our meal. When you are trying to set the table or clean it off that's when they strike. One day I had taken steak of the grill, put it on our outside table, and then went in the house to get something else, a second later, when I came out with more of our meal I looked and two gulls had taken the biggest piece of steak off the plate and were playing tug of war with it. Since then someone stands guard. I will go do my errands this morning and hopefully there will be a pkg in the post office. Everyone have a great day!

Good morning everyone, hope you all have a wonderful day and everyone gets their pkg!
Well I am so excited have to share with my quilt board family, someone who will actually appreciate and be as excited as me! My DH came home and said as soon as this contract he is working on is finished he wants to retire (he's only 54) but he's tired of doing this kind of work he is a private contractor and writes technical manuals for the military. So he said he wanted to buy me a embroidery machine before he stops working, I didn't know he meant right away.
Well, yesterday went to our LQS and DH bought me a Janome 350e! Don't really know how to use it yet, but still overjoyed!
