Well I am up to 114. But I went fishing.
After watching that forlorn grizzly looking endlessly for something to eat.
I made him a fish. LOL
I am rather pleased with this as all the fabric was hand painted...by me!

    MaryK ... more outstanding work!
Salmon are delicious on the plate .... though so ugly in the water. I think you should have a hook in his mouth .... though being that it is for Baby Bear, maybe his paw should be dipping in!!! Your thread painting along with the fabric has created such realistic water and splashes. So now you are making fabric too! One Wonder Woman you are ... you deserve that glass of vino tonight!

I've been following from afar and have enjoyed the DJs and MK's beautiful art work. OK..I loved the story about your new garden shed. What an asset to a Gardner and then to have the DGK break it in with a sleep over. Went on a FART last week but I'm finding that it's much easier to restrain myself since I have plenty of projects to work on and I'm in serious trouble to find room to store more. Did find FQs for a baby quilt that I must try to get done this weekend. I thought I had a month but got a shower invitation for this next SUNDAY. I might not make it.

There was someone on this thread that was going to use shot cotton for a quilt. I finally found a LQS that carried it and I got a FQ. I commented when I bought it that it didn't seem very "solid" and the owner said she didn't know if it was the finish or the thread count. I've made some stars with it and even after Best Press found it flimsy. I'm really disappointed. I'd like to hear other's experience.

GGal ... oh dear, you are going to be busy to whip that quilt together! If not, you could always give them a few pieces of material with an IOU. A surprise later as to what it becomes! It was DHMom who is going to use shot cottons. As with most things, probably there are different brands/qualities. Was yours a Kaffe Fassett Shot? I think that is what she has. I have yet to buy them, as none of my favourite haunts have them!

DHMom ... come and enlighten us! Please!

Hi, I have seen a few colors of the line by Kaffe and they, to me, are very thin and I wasn't too crazy about the colors..a very dark blue/green and greys...I'm holding off on any purchases until I see lighter colors or other manufacters..
