    I like it without the sashing - that is, unless you are looking for a way to make it bigger.

    No sashing....I like being able to see the visual effect of the D9P. The sashing loses that perspective.

    I like both but the one without looks more cozy and snuggly. The other way is very pretty. You have a hard decision. I guess it all depends on what syle your daughter is. Let us know.

    Agree. To me, the sashing makes it look like simply rows of blocks all the same. Without sashing it looks more imaginative, like you worked harder at the design. I kind of like that "how did you do that?" response, especially when the block is so easy!
