I am sorry for your loss. I just lost my Dad on Sept. 21st and it is hard. He was 86. My Mom is still alive but she is so lonesome. They had been married for 66 years. I am so thankful that God gave me such wonderful parents.

My deepest sympathy for the loss of your mom....mothers are more than just our caretakers when young, as we grow, they become even closer than a best friend. My mom died in 2005 and not a day goes by that I don't think about her and miss her still.
Blessings & Prayers,

Sorry to hear of your loss, We just lost my mom earlier this year. My mom didn't quilt but she croched, I so wanted the one with the red rose, but I think someone else took it or went to good will. So I was happy to hear you had the quilts to cherish. I have some fabric I was making her a quilt and had no idea she was close to the end. But, I think I will make it any way with a memory of her.

I have three quilts from my DMIL and I treasure them. I have a few from a great aunt also. I just wonder if my kids will have the same attachment I do. I should put labels on them so they will know who they belonged to. They have been told but may not recall.
I'm sorry for your loss, if one's Mom is 65 or 95, it's not easy to let them go. It takes a while to replace the sorrow with all the good memories but it will happen, so hang in there.
