Thanks Pam for getting me started on this exciting journey. I logged in to double check fat 8ths sizes and here I am!! Of course, because you are my daughter, you get all my goofy questions! <3<3

Beautiful vintage fabric SBG - I will have to pay attention to the 2-month group once we're separted to see all the pretty fabrics blocks!

Hi all, Well, I picked out my fabric and have all my f8s cut. This picture may not do it justice. It is a batik and has lots of shades of the same colors. I'm hoping for other quilters to complement it with fabrics that use the same colors as those in this fabric.

Vikkim, beautiful batik and kudos for getting your pic resized and posted. Woo hoo.

TMF, yes, definitely feel free to look in on and comment on the other group. The only reason we’re separated is for my ease in keeping track of where we are and who’s done what. We’re all Boomers!

Oh be still my heart. Love love bright and bold. Your fabrics are beautiful.

Well, I'm making a splash into BOOM 22 with these vibrant Kaffe fabrics! The secret is out - I <3 lots of color and contrast and give you all full creative license to do with as you choose! I have no specific requests other than to be bold and have fun mixing and matching with other patterns and/or solids. My overall goal is to make a fun, vibrant lap quilt for my home. This one will be for me.

Sewbiz it will be interesting to see what you decide on your color choice to go go with your very pretty vintage floral fabric. You always surprise me with your choices then I am once again surprised on how pretty they turn out. A definite learning expierence

Welcome to all the newcomers. This will be my third boom. It definitely is addicting!
I still have to work on my Santa blocks for the last boom. Maybe I'll have it finished for next Christmas.
I love all the fabric that has been shown so far and can't wait to see what everyone does with it.
Here is what I picked out for this boom. Even though I like bright colors, I really love this fabric I picked out. It is shades of gray. The colors are a little darker than shown in the picture. I will be sending a small piece of the bottom part of the picture to be used with the main fabric. I will ask that WOW also be used. I plan on using black sashing. I think it will turn out fabulous.

Thank you, Terri! What a nice thing to say...

    Cool batik you chose, Vikki!

Likewise, klaws! Your gray swirls are so cute.
