It's usually fear of the unknown that people won't change their ways. Or, that dreaded word "rigidity." It's like saying Rembrandt wasn't a great artist because he didn't "paint" all his pictures in charcoal.

Feel sorry for her, she is really limiting herself and her life, how sad.

I'm with you gramquilter2. I do have a pilot's license, but no way do I want to skydive. Why leave a perfectly flying airplane

i started to surgically edit to remove all the snarky bits.

changed my mind. i've already put in a full day at the office, and here.

let's all remember that it IS possible to express an opinion, or a counterpoint to somebody else's opinion without being nasty.

    Please remember the dress code:

Plan to arrive dressed for a neighborhood block party. Please feel free to wear anything you like except the following:
    -knotted shorts
    -twisted knickers
    -cranky pants
    -sack cloth and ashes
-any variation or style of said articles of clothing

and no snooty shoes, either, please. they leave marks on the carpet.
i'm too lazy to type all of that again.
