    I have made many Bargello quilts and I find it best to use your darkest color as the border as you have done. I do think your first choice is the best. I prefer an accent border. GOOD LUCK. I am sure they will have many years of enjoyment from this beautiful quilt you have made. :thumbup:

    I agree with this. Let the border showcase your beautifully done Bargello.

    My two cents: I like the first one -- as many others said, it doesn't distract from the gorgeous body of the bargello. Great job on it, by the way!!

    I like the first one. It doesn't take away from the bargello.
