    Well check out, Connecting threads, fons & porter, Keepsake Quilting, Hancocks of paducah or your local LQS and join next months swap.... Aprils swap will be a great way to get you started!!!

    No, I like the idea of the 'kitchen' but there are not very many fabrics out there... then I was thinking- Neutral... since alot of the 1930s quilts were made with muslin ..

    Whatcha'll think.. NEUTRALS ?????( no muslin pls)

    Well more like lite beige and bleached tans.. hmmm well there's really no 'wrong' fabric when it comes to the twist.. I was thinking any fabric that anyone deems to be neutral.. Ive seen some with beige and teeny tiny spots of blue, or tot tans and beige's... as long as its 98% neutral color then it would work.. think of what muslin looks like and work from there... I say have have fun and run with it..

    It was just a thought...

    Next to Batiks - 1930's is my favorite!!!! I have such a hard time cutting my 1930's fabs its funny... I have alot of it but I seem to have a hard time finding blacks and browns.. (hint Hint)

    Its hubbys favorite collection as well so for Christmas he ordered me a year Subscription of 1930's fqs. I get 6 fqs a month!!

    Ha! Try it lady!!! We have a mean watchdog and surveillance cameras !!! oh and a fierce kitty cat too with razor sharp claws !!! They are pretty protective of their mommy !!!!! lol. ROFL.. .

    Yea I like my collection, hubby 'encourages' me to buy when it comes to 1930's.. Gotta love him.. :thumbup:
