That is a lovely quilt. Glad that it went to someone who appreciated it.

Good for you that your lovely quilt found a home. It is so hard to take when someone does that. I hope that young lady grows up and smells the coffee someday.

this is why I no longer make quilts of any kind as gift....Some people see it a being cheap!!! it's hand made so it did cost a bundle. Do people realize that fabric cost anywhere from 10.00 to almost 15.00 a yard today...what about your time is that free....okay i will stop now before i hurt myself.. I am happy the cute quilt found a new home, and you did the right thing by not giving her anything....

You just solved my dilema ! I have a niece that is having a baby this fall and is a snob also. Why she is a snob is another story; can't stay in college; can only work as a waitress, living at home and not married, and on and on.....I just can't bring myself to make her a quilt for her either because I just don't feel like whatever I do will be "good" enough for her. Think I'll just give her a gift card !

Glad your quilt found a good home.

The initial recipient is unbelievable. I am so glad you were able to safe the quilt and give it to the right recipient.

That beautiful quilt just needed the right home to appreciate it. I'm so glad you found that home.
