I do. In the afternoon when church , lunch and all the other things are out of the way, I go into my special room and relax. Sewing/quilting is my therapy.

I'm sitting here giggling quietly because in my family, no one could use a scissors on Sunday. NO ONE could ever explain that to me and my friends have never heard of it - so WHERE did it come from? And until someone can give me a good reason not to, I'll keep sewing!

Maybe you mother didn't want the work of cleaning up the mess! My young kids sure make a mess with scissors!

LOL That's so funny! My Mom used to say the same thing! She also said "Anything started on Friday, will never be finished." Like you, I hear her words whenever I start something on Friday or sew on Sunday. :)

  we must be cousins, 'cause my Gma used to tell me the *very* same thing! so, do you sew on Sundays?? I do, and *every* time, l hear her say that .... too funny!
This is really funny because my grandma used to tell us that,"if you sew on Sunday, you'll rip it out with your nose on Monday." I seem to rip every day so what's the difference.LOL
