I am in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan - a long way from Kalamazoo so I really can't help you there. :-(

What a load of crap! We have Wally's Card & Party Factory here. I buy my party stuff there. It's cheaper. They have quite a few stores in Texas, Ok., La, & maybe Ark. What kind of crafts are they thinking about. You can only make so many of those foam things & besides that Oriental Trading Post has anything you could possiblity want.[/quote]

You are right on!

I live in Maine and our Walmart fabric workers tried to keep our dept. but they got rid of fabric in our state district wide. I only know of one walmart that still has the fabric and I travel the 25 miles to get certain fabrics and yarn occasionally. They replaced our fabric dept with party goods that everyone buys at the dollar tree much cheaper. Go figure.

Sure hope this is true as I buy a lot of my fabric at WM. We have been told however, that we won't be losing ours. Hope that rumor is true as well. They keep telling us to call 1-800-WalMart to voice our opinion on it. The line has been busy from this end.

I, too, am ready for Walmart to get fabric back. I miss it a lot. I also wish they would turn the store back around like it used to be and quit messing with my mind.
