one more reason to put stash inplastic totes... don't they float!! Can hear it now, Honey glad you brought all that fab we can how build a raft and tie it together with the fab :)

It depends. A good husband is hard to replace but how easy is it to replace for instance..Benartex "big red roses on black"?

boat starts to sink.

Husband? Is everyone on the board suddenly female, heterosexual and married, then? What's wrong with saying "partner"?

Anyway, of course you pick the partner. Because then they can never complain about the mess/costs/other inconveniences caused by your quilting ever again. "I abandoned my beloved stash to save you even though your'e a perfectly good swimmer, how can you be so cruel as to complain that there's nowhere to sit or eat because of the fabrics all over the house?"
