    First let me say I am saving parts of DH shirts and checks I find. I think the pattern you have is perfect and I am sure he has a good idea about recycling. He will be so proud of you and his quilt. The only thing I would of done differently is the denim may be a bit heavy for the cottons. A good shade of blue as near as you can find will highlight all your lovely scraps. Your design is good. May I use it for my quilt?

    It looks great and I would finish it. Is the fabric you are dark denim you are using real denim or just denim color?
