I totally agree. After working in an ICU/Trauma unit for nearly 20 years, I still hear beeping monitors in my sleep. It used to make me so irritated when a nurse would ignore the alarm, or rummage through the bed covers looking for the problem instead of shutting the darned alarm off first! (By the way, nurse, the patient is in ICU for a reason - maybe you should "monitor" him?)

ok, I confess. I cannot stand bowling shoes. I dont mind bowling, but the thought of using shoes that a gazillion other stinky feet have been in is just too much for me.

When someone calls me on the phone and instead of saying "hi" or "Howdy" they say "hey what are you doing?". I'm wondering why you called. I'm picking my nose. I'm on the toilet. Depending on who it is I sometimes say things that I'm not allowed to say here and they involve my DH. And even worse is when my kids or my DH call my cell phone and ask me where I am. Why? What the heck do you want, just to keep tabs on where I am every hour of the day?

And silly catch phrases like "git'er done" , "it is what it is"
