Thank you all for your questions and suggestions. I did square up each block, did the pressing and the last section did not match exactly. Well, I undid the basting I put in and unpinned the middle and bottom section. I tried Tartan's suggestion using the feed dogs to gather the material naturally and it worked. The seams all matched, where I had pinned them, used many pins between the seams to hold it in place, and was so happy it worked well. It is a little short on the right side, but I'll just square the whole thing up, and next I'll add the white border and then the purple/pink border.
