    Great idea!
and great stuff when you need to wrap a sprained wrist or ankle.

I was wondering if you could put one of those thimble dots on , then wrap with this? It would give you the reinforcement to keep the needle from going through. Just thinking!

Give a metal thimble a whack with a hammer to make the big end oval. It will fit your finger because your finger is oval not round. I do this to all my metal thimbles. Get a cheap metal thimble and give it a try. I love the Wonder Thimble, it's my favorite of all and I have many different types of thimbles even the custom fitted one. Not worth the money to use to me, but it's pretty to display.

Thank you for sharing as I just have never found a thimble that works for me. In addition, I can get some for free to try from my daughter the Vet!
