    It is beautiful, but a border would frame it like a picture.

    I think a nice border would give it a finished look, kind of like framing a picture. I like the idea of first a narrow white border then a pieced scrappy border. Picking one color for a border on a scrappy quilt is tricky. NIce piecing to BTW. Will be lovely when finished.

    I agree, I can also see it with the white and piano key border as well as a being able to see it with a thin border. It's a beautiful quilt. You did an excellent job of piecing. Can't wait to see what you decide.

    I too think it would like great with a thin white bother and then piano keys border with all the fabrics used in the center. Great job!

    My vote is no border, for binding use scraps from quilt sewn together at an angle.

    I too would recommend a small white border then some sort of scrappy border and binding. This will lend itself to some really nice quilting in the white parts!

    I'm in the boat with the border group! But I think it should be scrappy, whether you end up adding a border or binding. It's a beautiful top! I love that pattern.
