I've purchased a bunch of classes - hope to get started on them once all the weed spraying and haying is done! What I've seen I like.

I bought most of my classes when they were on sale and I have gotten something out of each. Some I didn't like so much because the teacher was a bit annoying but I generally endorse the crafty platform.

Much of what I know about quilting, I have learned from Craftsy classes. I have not completed many of the Craftsy classes in which I have enrolled; but I will get around to finishing them sometime. I love the Craftsy classes! I sign up for all the free Craftsy classes and buy the others when I can get them at 50% offl I especially like the fact that I can do the lessons any time.

Currently I'm working through the 2012 free Block of the Month. It has good directions, but you need to know that Amy Gibson is left-handed, so if you're right handed, the cutting will be different for you than what's demonstrated. I've purchased several other classes and think it's a good investment. Less expensive than most local classes, because you aren't "locked into" buying fabrics can use what you already have. Plus the convenience is great! Access anytime!

I have been very happy with the classes I have taken. I also second the suggestion to wait for a sale. 4 of the classes I have signed up for were free. They also have great sales on fabric.

Lots of great info, thanks all. I have done as suggested and enrolled for a few. Great for us rural birds too. Can't wait to start! Love the block a month idea.

Yes, I have purchased classes and so far have been pleased. Their free ones are worthwhile too.

I've taken a couple of Craftsy classes and liked them so I just signed up for the Quilting Big Projects on small machines class. hope I get a lot out of it cause my family has requests in for a few queen and king sized quilts from me!
