I have a couple of extra shuttles I found in a cabinet drawer - one is labeled white - the other I'm not sure about. I'll have to compare it's shape to my Minnesota B and the shuttles charts on-line.

It is a rare day when you find an old machine like that in such beautiful condition. Grab it!

Ok, the White is definitely wrong, but the second shuttle is one made for the "Sears" machines and is the same as the one in my Minnesota. I never noticed before, but the shuttles for the Sears models and the Whites faces the opposite way from the Singers. Also the one for the White has a pin going down the middle of it - really strange!

Thanks Deplaylady - that is what I needed to know. I've figured out that this machine is a White machine, and would take that different shuttle. I've looked and unless I got real lucky, the only way to get a shuttle would be to find a beat up donor machine with one. The seller said her Mom had everything as she sewed on it, but family has no idea what happened to the attachments in cleaning up the possessions. I'm going to call her and pass.

Well - here of the pics of the two extra shuttle I have just sitting around. I found them a drawer with accessories of a New Home I bought - it already had a shuttle, these were just strays, along with several other accessories in a puzzles box that didn't belong to it. I've already sold the machine (no space), and I already have a puzzle box and have no use for these two shuttles. I'm going to try to post pics. The White is on the right side - I hope you make out the tiny letters. If you think one might fit, that's a real pretty machine!

Opps! Just saw that you were going to pass. Oh well, still have extra shuttles.

You're going to pass? Oh no! That sure wouldn't be my choice with this machine.

Having five treadles and two hand cranks in the library had something to do with it. Spending the time to research the shuttle let my brain get ahead of my heart for a bit.

I realy have to stay focused on teh remaining Singers I'm looking for -otherwise I'll have spent all my money and used up all my room - then what I really want will show up.

It's hard to show restraint though - sure is a pretty machine!
