I've never used parchment paper, mainly because I forget to buy it! I'm going to get some for sure now. I don't have silicon baking sheets, so don't know about them. But I love the idea of easy cleanup!

I haven't used any silicone baking products. I DO have and love my
    silicone utensils (spatulas, spoons etc.).

For ALL baking I use parchment paper I even put it under baking dishes
that I put on cookie sheets to help with clean up.

I use just as much if not more parchment paper in my sewing room
as I do in the kitchen.

I bought 2 earlier this year and used them for the first time baking
the Christmas cookies. I absolutely love them! No burning and so easy to get off the pan. Can't wait to try them for Pumpkin Rolls. They give me fits when I take the wax paper off. Hopefully they will peal right off.

I got some of the silicone sheets made by Chef's Planet. They were great for cookies this year. They are very thin, and black, and cookies brown nicely on them. Easy to use, wipe and put away. http://chefsplanet.com/products/view/17 Found them at a kitchen shop. I even used it to make bark and it worked perfectly. No sticking.

I love my silicone sheets. I bought them at Costco Business, great price for 2. I'm too cheap to buy parchment and throw it away, I'm the odd ball, I guess. I like the silicone for making candy and for things that you don't want to stick. I make choc covered pretzels, perfect to let harden, they come right off beautifully. I highly recommend!

I bought a silicon baking sheet to use like a Supreme Slider on my sewing machine. It works great for that!

I have and use both, but I do wonder about the long term effect of using silicone at 350+. Just a worrier, I guess.
