    It is just a basic meandering stipple. Much more than that or SID and it goes to a longarmer ...

    Being a stepmom/grandmother can be difficult, but as "they" say, "You are responsible only for the effort, not the outcome." It sounds like your heart has been in the right place. Maybe the situation just needs some time, but if it never works out, it wasn't your fault, and your DH will know it.

    I agree... sometimes we have to be the bigger person to overcome some of the obstacles. Maybe the fact that she actually asked you to make a quilt is a step in the positive direction.

    I love your Chevron quilt and your wonderful placement of fabric! I hope she does too.
