    Hey Snowb,
So glad you are joining us in our quest to try new and fun things! I had to really dig through some of my stash to find the colors suggested. I am going to do one the way it's supposed to be, then I'll branch out. I found a shortage in my stash, need more printed greens and yellows. I'm going to get with it and go shopping soon.

Welcome to the best of the best in quilting sites! Soooo glad to have you to join us!

    Sharon

Welcome snowb. I've been in/through Medina and there's a cemetery there (pardon the pun) that's 'to die for'. Do you know the one that's right by the road but has a winding car/hearse path up the hill through some stately old trees and has either a stone or brick caretaker's shed at the gate? I remember there were names of Brown and Bowen (familiar names to me) on headstones near the road. I made pictures and said that was one place I thought I could rest in peace. Do you know the place? It was before digital, so I'll have to look through prints sometime.

Hello there - On The Go
I know the cemetery you are talking about. It's called Boxwood Cemetery and is a very old one. I am really surprised that someone actually knows where Medina is !!! I have been to Knoxville; I think it was in 1984 for the world's fair. Have always wanted to go back and spent more time in the Smokey Mtns.
Well, it's back to my block. I am still cutting it out.

Sharon - Thanks so much for the warm welcome. I have been reading a few other quilt & sewing boards and I agree with you 100%. I think this one is the best !!! You all seem like one big family.
I decided that I only wanted to use 3 colors in my BOM. Took my awhile to figure out how many triangles of each color I needed, but now that I got it I'm on a roll & I shall roll back to do some more cutting now.
