I am so pleased with achieving my first goal, it would be easy to rest on my laurels. But I think I will I set the goal of cleaning out a small section of sewing room closet.

Wow! Great goals are being set for this week!

I plan to label some plastic shoebox size containers. I will label them with color and whether they are boy, girl, or neutral colors and then sort scraps that are given to me from Bundles of Love charity to sew into baby quilts.

Kris P: I sorted through some of my Stampin' Up sets last spring to sell and they are still sitting in a box. . I bought them at workshops and garage sales. Time to decide if I will sell them or see if my niece wants them for mission work.

Tessagin: I tape paper labels inside my shoeboxes but I like the idea of index cards because they would be sturdier.

    1. Clear off my cutting table again.
    2. Clear off my ironing table again.
    3. Organize my orphan blocks.

Those three things sound easy, but it's a busy week in my non-Sewing life. Might be all I can do.

I have a dresser chocked full of sewing things I want to go through - donate what I can. Also I feel the need to whittle down a little fabric. Four totes sitting in my bedroom which is causing a little claustrophobia so if I can get it down to three I'll be happy.

I need to get the denim explosion under control after deconstructing jeans...then want to pair backings with the batting I scrap pieced last week. These pairings will dictate the size of tops for me to make...mostly 42 x whatever length the backing is. Also need to have a hand sewing project to take on our trip out of town this weekend...I see a short week ahead of me.

Of course I found the batting scraps while looking for my knitting needles, which I haven't found yet. I did find the embroidery software I was looking for a month ago. Guess I'm not the most organized person am I?

We hope to move by this time next year and I will need to downsize. I want to start collecting things for a Quilters Yard Sale. Several of us had one several years ago in someone's shop and we did very well. No other stuff, just quilting and sewing items. Two of the gals even sold sewing machines at good prices. We did invest in advertising which really helped the turnout.

Finish going through my fabric closet. Have given away my sewing room and all but 1 side of my stash closet. Will clear that when DD comes on 09/23/16.

I will clear and tidy things on my ironing board. Clear and tidy things on my sewing table. Also pick up all the scraps I emptied onto the floor.
