Pretty top and it deserves to be a quilt! I taught myself how to machine quilt because hand quilting was taking way to long and I had many tops to quilt. I am down to 2 large tops to tackle.

Very nice top and great work. I am with you---love to make the top but certainly don't like to quilt it. I love to put the binding on tho'.

Boy oh boy, that looks like a LOT of TINY pieces. Nice way to use some scraps.

Your top is very pretty and would be prettier all finished.

I don't have any UFOs. I donate most of my quilts. I do plan to keep making as many quilts for as long as I can. I love all of quilt making.

Give yourself permission to have a few longarm quilted. I send my larger tops out for quilting and now do smaller ones very simply (grid or stitch in the ditch) myself. Then I feel I have accomplished something. And simply quilted quilts look just fine. I think we all have raised our standards for quilting after going to shows and seeing very intricately quilted quilts. If people are just going to sleep under them (or drag them around), it is OK for them to be more simply quilted.

I try to discipline myself with that. Finish before starting another one. So far it has worked for me. But that next one is always in my head just awaiting.
