    Thanks for the tip about dryer sheets! I just used thin muslin for a foundation quilt, and the resulting blocks are a bit heavy. This would be a great alternative for the next one. Guess I'll start saving them!

    Very nice looking quilt! So do you like this method better than your previous one? I have only ever used things that must be removed may just have to try something different, thanks so much for sharing!

    I get to check in here so seldom any more but when I do, I always learn something. Thanks for reminding me about the dryer sheets, paintmejudy. One of the ladies in my Guild has everyone save them for her and she has made at least 4 scrappy quilts using the dryer sheets. I recently acquired a half bolt of very lightweight pellon and I am going to try that. I have used old sheets but it makes a thicker block like Mkotsch said. (post #11).
