Keep them by your sewing machine and use them as leaders and enders making 12 or16 patches, then you can put them together later using sashing.

Two sources come to mind. Bonnie Hunter (https://quiltville.blogspot.com/p/free-patterns.htm) has many free patterns and online tutorials that use 2 inch cuts. Wedding Dress Blue (https://weddingdressblue.wordpress.com/) also has a collection of free patterns and tutorials that make use of 2 inch squares. One that I am working on currently is called Growing Up Odd. I have converted it to 2.5 inch squares and have made it previously. Happy searching.

Thank you, thank you everyone. I knew I could count on all of you great quilters on this board to give me so many great ideas. Guess I had a brain freeze when it came to thinking of how to put my 2" squares into a quilt. I love all of the ideas and now to make a decision. I have my 5 grand kiddos here for a vacation so not able to sew for some time.
I appreciate all of the links and pictures you all sent.

Quilter's Cache Sunny Lanes uses 2" squares, though I cheated and used 2 1/2". Go to the second page to see the completed quilt. I liked this one a lot. http://www.quilterscache.com/S/SunnyLanesBlock.html

The first is a full size quilt we made, using solid navy blocks to make a pattern. The second is a crib quilt top, Trip Around the World, scrappy, just dividing the scraps into dark, medium, and light.

Arkansas Crossroads maybe? I've got a bin of blocks I'm putting together as leader/enders.

I did the Y2K swaps also and found many new friends over the world -- many of them I met when I back packed all over the world. I found some Y2K 2000 fabrick the other day when I was going thru an old box of fabrics. I didn't swap all of my stash of Y2k fabrics.
