I'm still with you... just got done trimming all my HSTs and 4 patches. Now I'll combine two of each into buckeye blocks, blue blocks and brown blocks. Hopefully I've done enough trimming that I won't need to trim these again after the next sewing. I don't plan to! I have gotten a lot done on this, thanks to the VQW this weekend.

Maniac, your quilt top is so pretty. Great piecing and colors!

I'll check back in later and maybe share some progress photos.

I am still here too, going to finish the rest of the blocks on my second City Blocks quilt for charity. Spent the morning picking produce from the garden, love home grown tomatoes, green beans and peppers! Love being retired, life is a 7 day weekend!!!

Thanks for letting me know. I wasn't sure if I had unsubscribed when I wasn't sewing or if they had changed things up.

Wish I could still be sewing with you all! But I'm doing my best not to wish my day away. I have a lot to be thankful for, including a great job with great folks. :-)

These are the two quilts I worked on and finished today. I'm now all caught up on my quilts! I cleaned up my sewing room a little this afternoon and did some work on the applique project from the Pat Sloan workshop yesterday. All the Heat N Bond Lite is attached and I started cutting out some of the pieces. So I'm still working this week!

Here is a sneak peak at the hand quilting that I am working on. This is the project for tonight.

And, this is what I spent my afternoon making. 9, 91/2" Halloween blocks. This is my last set.

Raggiemom, nice job on those quilts.

I'm pretty much done for today. I am going to square up my blocks tomorrow. I want to be fresh. And, I will be working on my hand quilting tonight. But, I don't know how much more I will get done. I'm tired. Think I need to see about getting something to eat.

Glad to see some more of you are making headway on your projects.

Thanks for a great VQW. I got a lot done. Will check back later before the end of the day. Bye for now.

Nice quilts, Raggiemom. But I'm not sure what that phrase you used means. "all caught up" Strange language you have

I did finish my blue quilt this weekend. Just the hanging sleeve and label to finish up tonight and I'll be dropping it off tomorrow. You can see some of the quilting in this photo - I used a blue thread to match/blend with the flowers, and it stands out quite nicely on the black sections.

And the Christmas tree skirt is all ready to be trimmed and bound. I even made some little ties to attach to the opening edges.
