I finished up clue 5 (cutting) and started on clue 6 on Friday. Got on a role and kept going to clue 7.

Here is the peices ready to assemble. This includes the piecing for the sashing and border.

And where I got to before I decided I needed to get some quilting done on my five christmas quilts.

Looking great, Macybaby! Did I tell you I like blue and yellow together!

I have most of the 9P for the block sewn...I've switched to sewing on a quilt for a gift (Q size) and some projects for our guild Christmas party tomorrow night. Meanwhile MrOK is leaving today for a meeting halfway across the country and I'm going to help FarmerSon with a few chores. He's all packed and ready to go...hummm...wonder how that happened? Tonight going to a Madrigal dinner with a friend....oldest GD is in it and can bring her home when it's over as she isn't old enough to drive yet. Maybe can get back to BG next week.

You are very busy, Ok, but with Mr. OK gone, maybe you can sew a little more after the chore work with FarmerSon.

My printer has died; it was four years old. Needs a new print head and four cartridges, cheapest is on EBay, but budget says "No", maybe next month.

Nearly finished 15 blocks in the R,W&B BS quilt. I like the pre-cutting and how quickly the blocks go together. The Scrappy Christmas Theme blocks will take a little longer, cutting out each individual blocks.

I've got mine all together, and want to put a border on it. I did the large size which ends up 77x95 without borders. The borders I want to add will increase the size to 92x110 so this is ending up larger than I expected.

my border will be 1.5" of the main background, 1" of the gold that is used for the circle and then 5" of the beige crosshatch print that is used for the larger pieces, with the black as the binding. If I had not used three fabrics for the background I'd probably go with less fabrics in teh border. I really like how it looks bringing some of the central fabrics out to the edge.

The R, W & Blue BS blocks are all done. Now to QAYG on each block and do the borders. Great job Macybaby on getting yours together....pictures would be great.

here is my floppy - it may be months before it gets quilted, but it's no longer a box of pieces!

I was hoping for a quilt with a more masculine feel - so I'm happy with how it turned out.
