Looks like everyone is busy, busy, busy!!! I received Maybe1day's center from Lindy Tuesday or Wednesday...I was out of town until yesterday (Thursday) afternoon with no computer access so I couldn't keep up...I love all the pictures posted so far...I have got to pull up my "girly" pants and get to work on Maybe1day's beautiful center...Lindy did a wonderful job on the first round and now I have no idea what I will do for the second...maybe this weekend.

Donna I am so happy that you like what I have done with your centre. I loved this print when I saw it against the centre. Seriously thinking of buying some more of it for me.

Thank you ladies for your kind comments, I feel a little as if I was cheating only doing a few flying geese with the rest just being strips of printed fabric however hadn’t wanted to overdo it yet stay with the requested theme. Plus I was conscious of poor Linda now waiting so thought I should do something easier to catch up so she isn’t behind. I don’t work in paid employment so am very conscious of those who do needing to fit things in.

Kay I am sure you will do something lovely with my dear centre. You do such lovely work and I am looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

Jodi I am now working on yours which is a challenge (dark and masculine). I find dark difficult as I love either soft or bright colours myself, must be conflicted LOL Anyway I have an idea so am using scraps to do a mock up to see if what I have in mind will work. Gives me something to do till I go down to town on Monday for our charity sewing bee. I will not be able to look for suitable fabrics till then.

Thanks again,
Kathleen

Ok guys...I read all the posts on the thread that tells you the best way to add borders that lay flat! And of course, quilters on the QB are the best! here's your country Angel...she will be mailed Monday for sure...we always say "Hope you like it"...so, hope you like it!

Note: Because of my bed, I cannot take a picture square on...but she does lay flat on the floor....no ruffles!
