That would be great Janice...I have not seen any posted in Georgia. In Michigan I was the first (as far as I know) that started making them and sowing them. Now I think there are at least a few more because I have seen some posted in Michigan that are not mine.<3

Let me know if you start Janice. Wait until you read some of the stories they post. Makes your heart happy.

I have made the quilted hearts and spread them as we travel. My DH even got into the act pointing out good places!!
I like it because it is a gift. it says take me home - and that's it. Just giving out some love is what it does.

Barbara, mine will definitely be scrappy hearts. With the thousands of candy squares I have, how can they not be? I have my swap starting this week but once it's settled, these seem like just the thing to make for the times when I only have a few minutes. I love the thought of making someone's day with a little heart. And i know exactly where my first ones will be placed. (I'm already planning!)

Also, my candy square for Aborning and pinkflowers are in the mail this morning. Be on the lookout ladies!

Just returned from post office. The 70 cents (second ounce) stamp that many of us use will be going up to 71 this month. But you can purchase the forever 70 cents now and save!
I was happy because I have some of them and was thinking I would have to add additional penny or two stamp to those.

Hello Ladies..........Hello Ladies...attention......attention.

I have received permission to do the Birthday Swap for the next year!!!!

I know this is just the beginning of January but I want to find out how many birthday babes will be returning for another year of celebration. I would like to know by January 25th what your plans are. Then I will see how many spots we have open for newbies.
With that being said.... if you have more than 4 times late you will not be able to join next year. Which will excludes a few people. A couple are at 3 late so please do not be late for these last few birthdays.


Here are some stats that made me decide to exclude some swappers.
as of Dec 25...
4 (only) birthday babes received all of their packages on time!

22 of the 32 swappers have sent their packages on time.

I do give a few days after a birthday and still be consider on time.

Let me know ladies.

I want to finish so many UFOs in 2018 that sadly I cannot participate in this wonderful swap that I've done 4 yrs! Please watch the Picture thread as I will post projects as I finish them. Hope to use many of these BD charms, too.

Barb, Thank You for hosting this swap & mentoring me on QB & Curious Quilter!!!! YOU ROCK!!!!

We may move, too - house on the market in early spring. Need to finish stairs & do some touch ups before listing. Not to mention putting away Christmas, clearing out the garage & planting spring flowers!
