Wow Jeannie that is fantastic--love it. Those sashing and cornerstone blocks are perfect with your blocks. Great great job!

Jeanie, your Christmas quilt is going to be beautiful! But, I've admired it throughout our journey. Can't wait to see what the second one will look like.

Planned on using dark tourquoise for my sashing, laid it all out, and it looked nice. Just "nice"-no drama or pop to it. So....here's what I came up with: black. I really like it but please tell me what you all think.

Oh I really like the black - looking at mine, maybe I should have used the black as sashing and beige as cornerstones. The black makes your blocks really stand out so nicely. Love it!

!!!WOW!!! these look AMAZING Ladies :D :D :D

I lOVE doing quilts "on point" it is my favorite look ;) Like Anne says, cut 1/2 bigger and PIN the heck out of it!!! also, place your triangle piece on top and the sashing piece on the bottom when feeding into the sewing machine, those feed dogs will pull a triangle easily.

Here is a picture of mine on the wall. I have quilted each block seperately and then added the sashing. Then sewed each row and then joined the sashing and cornerstones to each row. I will add the backing when done then quilt the sashing strips. I have never done this before so hope it will work.
