You may as well admit that you will never stop buying!! It's an addiction that needs to be fed.
I think they put something in the fabric that is addicting and that's why we can't stop.

I'm an organizer in moderation. If I organize too much, I'm afraid to touch it...might mess it up! So, I try to keep a comfortable level so I don't feel guilty when I dig through. I try not to buy fabric unless I really need it for a project. That hasn't worked very well. I have a number of kits I purchased...just because I liked them. Haven't started on them yet. I just came across some beautiful fabric that I bought for no reason, except I thought they would look great together, but no plan.
I'll soon be moving everything to my new quilting shed (http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-103882-1.htm) and I'm going to HAVE to do a better job of organizing. At least it will all be in one place! :D

This is so funny and refreshing to meet same-minded people. Every January I attempt to clean up the sewing piles, and I do get rid of a lot of stuff that's been lingering since the year of the flood. By year's end, the pile is still as big, and it still has stuff that's not on my "can't live without" list! When I die my poor children will have to deal with it!

I have at least 10 stacks of fabric with pattern atop waiting but keep shopping for new projects then have ADHD deciding what to do, which leads to more fabric. It doesnt' help me much that I have a JoAnnes, Hancocks and 2 LQS within 10 miles of my house
Know that you are not alone lol, we are with you.

My name is Kathleen and I am a quiltaholic! I have two BOM's from 2010 and one from each of the last 4/5 years to complete.
I am keeping up with the 2011 BOM, so far.
I will not start anything else until I have completed my current "STUFF". I must complete my "STUFF". I must, I must, I will!

It's all perspective. Make about 20 quilts to give away and your three boxes will shrink considerably--and quickly. :)
