    What ever you intended , is not apparent. What is .. is a perfectly good quilt top. Quilt it !!

    I would just finish it. It looks like you planned to put them in that way.......at least that would be my story. :-)

    I don't get it, what was it supposed to look like? It looks fine as it is, it's a striped pattern right? It's an original pattern, like most quilts.

    The child who gets this quilt will never notice that you sewed it wrong (neither do I for that matter), so just finish it the way it is and send it off to whatever organization you are quilting it for.

    I agree that you should just quilt it and move on. Lots of folks would love a warm quilt.
