    Thank you for all the nice comments everybody!
    I just want to mention that this isn't a quilt. Appearances seem to have led some of you to think it is... LOL!
    It is a 14" pillow cover... that's a very mini lone star in the center, not a full size one.

    DogHouseMom - I hope you are watching this thread, because I would love it if you would let me know when you post pictures of your Little Lone Star - can't wait to see it!

    That is the most awesome thing ever! I used to make those stars "back in the day". Y'know, old school style. I need to look at the book you mentioned.
